Prof. Menahem Yaari

Menahem Yaari is a theoretical economist and member of the Center for Rationality at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford Univeristy and is a member of the Israeli Academy of Sciences where he served as president from 2004 - 2010. He is also a member of the American Philosophical Society and served as president of the Open University of Israel from 1992 - 1997. Yaari recieved the EMET Prize for Social Sciences in 2012, the Rothschild Prize for Social Sciences in 1994 and the Israel Prize in Economics in 1987.
