Professor Alon Harel is is a full professor in the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem where he serves as the Chair of Administrative and Criminal Law and is a member of the Center for Rationality. His main areas of interest include Philosophy of Law, Criminal Law, and Economic Analysis of Law. He recieved his Ph.D. from Balliol College, Oxford. Harel previously served on the Board of Directors for the Association for Civil Rights in Israel and is currently co-editor for varoius leading legal journals, including "Criminal Law and Philospohy".
